How we work

Core Vitality Lab is an editorial research lab focused on supplements, nutrition, and wellness products. Our process combines AI-assisted literature mining with human editorial review. AI surfaces candidate studies and drafts initial summaries; trained analysts verify every claim against the primary source before anything is published.

We do not run primary clinical trials. Our value is in synthesis, evidence grading, and disclosure — turning the public scientific literature into accurate, comparable, plainly-written reviews.

Evidence tiers

Every claim is graded Strong / Moderate / Limited based on study design, sample size, replication, and conflict-of-interest review. Mechanistic-only claims are flagged.

Conflict-of-interest disclosure

All commercial relationships are disclosed inline and on every product page. Affiliate revenue does not influence rankings — see our affiliate disclosure for the revenue model.

Source transparency

We cite primary sources (PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, peer-reviewed journals) over secondary aggregators. AI-generated drafts are always reviewed against the original study by a human editor before publication.

Update cadence

Reviews are revisited when new RCTs, formulation changes, or safety data emerge. The dateModified field on every article reflects the most recent editorial review.

Editorial independence

Editors hold final say on rankings, evidence grades, and inclusion. No advertiser, brand, or partner can pre-approve content or remove negative findings.

Correction policy

Errors are corrected promptly with a visible correction note. We welcome reader corrections via the contact page; verified corrections are processed within 5 business days.

Roles

Lead Research Analyst. Selects studies, scores evidence quality, and writes ingredient-level analyses. Background: clinical literature appraisal and supplement formulation review.

Editor & Fact-checker. Verifies every claim against primary sources, enforces disclosure policy, and reviews every article before publication.

AI Research Tooling. Curated AI workflows mine PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov, surface candidate studies, and draft summaries that the human editorial team verifies before any publication.
